The South Whidbey Yacht Club welcomes applications for membership from both boaters and non-boaters who would like to join us in our many fun and educational activities on the water and on land. Benefits include getting to know a wonderful group of people who enjoy our island environment, and supporting our mission to foster safe boating and the responsible enjoyment of our marine resources.

How to Apply

We want to make it as easy as possible for you to apply, so choose the method that suits you:

Option 1: Apply online (pay by credit card or mail in a check)

Option 2: Come to our next General Membership Meeting and apply in person! 

Don’t hesitate to contact the Membership Chair, Mark Conover, with any questions or for help submitting your application. The membership chair will be happy to walk you through the process. Mark can be reached through at membership@swyachtclub.org.

Application Information

Important Information

Applications are submitted to the SWYC Board and must include full payment (see below). New membership requires Board approval and an existing member sponsor; if you do not have a sponsor, please type “membership” in the sponsor field on your application and the Membership Chair will contact you. New members must indicate on their application that they agree to abide by the governing rules and by-laws of SWYC. You can review them here.

All new member applicants will be contacted by the Membership Chair and will be officially welcomed into the club at the next monthly member event.

Annual Dues & Application Fee

Annual Family Membership (2 people): $130 **
Annual Individual Membership (1 person): $80 **

New member application fee (includes either a club hat or a club burgee, name badges & 2 decals): $150

**  New members pay full annual dues if joining the club before  August 1.   Thereafter, dues are half for the remainder of the year.
