Sailing with the South Whidbey Yacht Club
The South Whidbey Yacht Club has ample opportunity for sailors and would-be-sailors of all ages and experiences. Sailing classes for both youth and adults, Laser and Pelican races, keelboat sailing and meeting up with others just to get out on the water for an afternoon with the waves and wind. Our sailing courses combine shore-side learning with lots of on-the-water, hands-on-the-tiller experience. Students learn boating safety, basic seamanship and knot tying. The focus is on being safe, learning sailing concepts and having fun.
