Planning is Underway for 2026 Racing Season
There are avid small boat sailors and racers in the SWYC. Come out and see what all the fun is on the water. Whether flying across the water in a Laser, or enjoying the challenges of the 2-person team approach in a Pelican, SWYC has the experiences for you. The 2026 race schedules are being planned now.
Lasers
Fees: $50 per racing series for club members. Those racers who are not members of SWYC will have one night’s free racing; but, after that, they will pay an annual fee of $100, plus a racing fee of $50 per series, a total of $200 per year if participating in both series. These fees help to defray club expenses.
2026 LASER RACING SCHEDULE
All Laser races are held at Freeland Park on Holmes Harbor. Race start time is 5:30 pm on most Tuesdays mid-May through mid-September.
