You will be able to register for Youth Classes via South Whidbey Parks and Recreation. Details will be available on their web site around April 16. These popular classes fill quickly! The youth classes often fill the first day. Please plan ahead.

Beginner Sailing Camp:

An awards ceremony is held on Fridays at 2:00 pm for each session. Parents are encouraged to attend! Parents are also encouraged to attend the first-day Orientation Session.
Location: On the first morning of each camp students will meet at the Deer Lake County Park at the end of Bucktail Rd for swim assessment and orientation. Parents and drivers are required to stay onsite for this short session. Our class policy is to ensure that each student can swim and is comfortable around the water before getting on the boats. Students should come to this orientation prepared to jump into the lake and swim for 2 minutes. Any returning student that has completed this assessment from a prior SWYC Sailing Class is excused from this swim assessment.
An email will be sent 7 to 10 days prior to the first class with last-minute changes and first-day information.

*$50 discount for SWYC members.
All sessions will be able to accommodate both Beginning and Intermediate Sailing. The Introduction to Laser Sailing will also be offered. All are at Lone Lake.
